I honestly had no idea what to expect, but 5 minutes after my arrival I felt I was among old friends. New Orleans music & eats set a jovial tone. The Cruise & the Savage Game Masters delivered easily the most fun gaming I’ve had in almost a decade.
I am humbled by the folks at Rocky Mountain Savages - the very experience has so elevated my own game, they should rename the trip ‘GM Academy.’
Kimberly of course gets mad props for assembling the cruise package for our sea going motley crew. It was my first cruise experience and definitely worth repeating.

Savage Cruise 2020 was a brilliant experience for this Brit. Well organised with an excellent combination of holiday and gaming fun, and what a fantastic idea to do it all on cruise ship out of the amazing city of New Orleans.
Rocky Mountain Savages and Ships and Trips travel totally rock! Massive thanks to all my new American friends too, so friendly, you guys are awesome.

Favorite Gaming Moment: In general, Playing with the amazing GM’s in a variety of games. Specifics: every game for me moments that I will never forget. From the Noob game (SWAT) Sunday night to the last game (Deadlands) getting the conviction d6 from Jodi Black with my character. Just reaffirmed my hobby choice and game of choice.

Savage Worlds on the high seas, interspersed with plenty of good food, stops on tropical islands, and just a bit too much alcohol! They guy who though this up must be some kind of genius! And whoever thought to do this out of New Orleans? Wow! 😉

I really enjoyed the Savage Cruise 2020. I knew a total of two people that were going on the cruise and was a little nervous. I met a lot of folks who share my interest in gaming. The time in New Orleans and on the Carnival Glory were great. I now feel part of the "Savage" pack and made many new friends. I look forward to the next Savage Expedition.

League of Nichols cages, Rippers '78, and SWAT. All of those were excellent, and the DMs were a riot.

I simply loved the Savage Rifts minicampaign. Brought far more complexity and richness than I usually expect in a con game.

Bad Night In El Rey with Karl Keesler was my favorite game.

Any game with Karl is awesome, but we had new GM's that ran too, and that's something to be said.

As I did not game, spending non-gaming time with my husband and meeting all y'all was my favorite experience.

Trailer park shark attack was absolutely brilliant, more fun in a game than I've had in ages, and that's a high bar!

Karl Keesler's ETU: 1985 was a blast. Actually Karl (and even many others whose games I didn't get a chance to play) really brought their "A-game.

The best part was going out with friends to see different sights, and making the dreaded sacrifice to go to Margaritaville so Chris could get his t-shirts and hat. Kid in a candy shop.

Probably the best vacation experience was having our driver in Jamaica take us for jerk chicken & pork at the Pork Pit (a bit of a hole in the wall that was quite good) while hanging out with a couple of great folks (Karl & his wife who happened to be on the same excursion as myself and my friend). I would also add finally getting to meet folks I'd long had discussions with on the Pinnacle forum or through other means, like Shane Hensley, Clint & Jodi Black and Cheyenne Wright, all folks who are just as fantastic in person as they are online and in emails!
